Potty Training

This weekend was "potty weekend." I was finally fed up with diapers and ready for Gavin to learn how to use the "big-boy" potty!! He had gone a few times before, but it was always a battle... so this weekend, we took off his pants and just let him run around naked. He did FABULOUS!!! I could kick myself for not doing this 6 months ago. He has a potty chart that he has almost filled up, and only three accidents in two days. I'm such a proud mommy!!! :) Now he ready to show the fam in California what a big boy he is!

Arbigus???

For the past few months, Gavin has been obsessed with Matchbox cars. He has probably 30 different ones, but has managed to keep track of every single one. He even has a special "garage" in his bed, so he can SLEEP with them. A couple weeks ago, he was playing with his cars on the window sill, and comes up to me and wants me to come see "arbigus." I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what that means or where he got it from, but he says it all the time!! It drive me nuts! Then he comes up with "rifting roofting"??? He thinks it is hilarious that I have no idea what he means...

Oh, the life of a three-year-old...

My life in the workplace...

So my life, the past few weeks, has been completely consumed by this project. Somehow, my little part-time job turned into a 50 hour a week job- overnight!! "Going Green at the Beach" is known as the one of the greenest homes in the NW. The company I work for, Green Dog Enterprises, has been in charge of all the marketing and PR for this project. It has been such a wonderful experience, and an incredible learning opportunity. There is so many different green features incorportated in the home...Check out the website to learn more about it! www.goinggreenatthebeach.com

Halloween Night

We went to a local Senior Community and took Gavin trick-or-treating. He was a little unsure of it at first, but after he realized he was getting candy, he was into it!!

Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins last weekend. Gavin had so much fun playing with the "goop!" He instructed Daddy to make "little eyes, and a big smile...no scary pumpkins here!!" He also helped me sort through and pick all the seeds out, so we could roast them. Good job, Gavin!
